Aata Chakki Machine

The aata chakki machine is a traditional grinding system commonly used for producing whole wheat flour. It works on a simple principle where grains are crushed between two circular stones or emery plates. One stone rotates while the other remains stationary. The wheat is fed through a hopper and ground in a single step, unlike roller mills which use multiple stages. This method retains bran and germ, making the flour more nutritious but slightly coarse. It is widely used in households and small-scale industries due to its simplicity and low cost. However, it offers less control over particle size compared to modern roller mills.

  • Single-stage grinding system
  • Retains nutrients (bran and germ)
  • Simple and low maintenance
  • Suitable for small-scale use
  • Produces coarse flour

‘K Sons’ Machines and system are equally at home in large mills and in small mills, in new mills and remodels, with new plant or existing machinery. Our motto is to provide every assistance to develop these mills, under reference, especially in the milling industry.
